SAUDI Aramco is on target to meet ambitious goals the company has set forth to make natural gas a more prominent part of its upstream portfolio, with projects under way to further boost Saudi Arabia's gas and associated liquids production. Speaking to a group of reporters recently at Aramco headquarters in Dharan, senior vice president of upstream Mohammed Al-Qahtani said the company has doubled its gas capacity in the last 10 years and that capacity will nearly double again in the next decade.
