Inpex makes headway on Ichthys booster

JAPANESE independent Inpex is pushing ahead with its plan to build a 4000-tonne gas compression module for its Ichthys liquefied natural gas project in Australia, where a major phase two development drilling campaign will soon begin. Contracting sources said Inpex has pre-qualified up to four fabricators in Asia and one in Australia to compete for the engineering, procurement and construction contract.
