Chrysaor homes in on Europe top spot

CHRYSAOR has taken significant steps towards its ambition of becoming Europe's leading independent exploration and production company although chief executive Phil Kirk is in no mood for complacency. "I would not say those ambitions will ever be completely achieved but we have come a long way," says Kirk, five months on from orchestrating the private equity-backed company's agreement to buy US energy group ConocoPhillips's UK North Sea oil and gas assets for $2.68 billion.
