THE Indonesian authorities want to accelerate discussions with Chevron over the US major's proposed multi-billion dollar Indonesia Deepwater Development (IDD) gas mega-project amid fears continuing delays could further derail start-up, writes Amanda Battersby. Indonesia's upstream regulator SKK Migas is in talks with Chevron and has also sat down with co-venturer Eni to try to finalise the revised development. "We continue to push, we met with Chevron, with Eni, but not yet with [another partner] Sinopec. We want to arrange discussions so this issue can be resolved soon," said SKK Migas chairman Dwi Soetjipto.
