ONGC opens only bid for deepwater FPSO tender

INDIA'S Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has opened the commercial offer submitted by the only bidder for a lease and operate contract covering a floating production, storage and offloading vessel at the state-owned player's delayed KG-DWN-98/2 project. Multiple industry sources told Upstream that ONGC recently opened the price proposal submitted by a consortium of India's Shapoorji Pallonji Oil & Gas and Malaysia's Bumi Armada, with the contract value likely to be upwards of $2 billion.
