Archer gets new deal

ARCHER has secured a new long-term contract with Chevron to provide drilling and maintenance services on a pair of platforms off the UK. The five-year deal, with two optional one-year extensions, covers work on the US operator's Alba Northern and Captain facilities, as well as onshore rig operations, maintenance and quality, health, safety and environment services.
