Liza 2 project gets the green light off Guyana

EXXONMOBIL has taken a significant step forward with its massive development programme on the Stabroek block off Guyana by sanctioning the Liza 2 project. Along with partners Hess and CNOOC International, the US supermajor has given the green light to a scheme that will produce via the Liza Unity floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which will have capacity for 220,000 barrels per day of oil per day. First oil is expected in mid-2022.
