MALAYSIAN operator Tamarind Resources is preparing to start a development drilling programme in its Tui Area oil project off New Zealand, and is eyeing a potential exploration well next year, writes Russell Searancke. The sixth-generation semi-submersible COSL Prospector is en route to New Zealand with its first assignment at Tui due to start before the end of June 2019.
