摘要

NETHERLANDS-BASED SBM Offshore and Malaysia's Yinson have emerged as the leading contenders in a race to supply a major floating production, storage and offloading vessel for Aker Energy's Greater Pecan project off Ghana. Industry sources said the operator could decide on its preferred bidder by the end of June at the earliest. Modec of Japan and Kuala Lumpur-listed Bumi Armada were originally in the race to land this prestigious lease-and-operate con- tract but project watchers said the pair had fallen off the pace.
