McDermott comes top of the pile for Sepia work

US OILFIELD services giant McDermott International has submitted the lowest bid in a closely-watched Petrobras tender to contract a rigid riser-based system for the Sepia field in Brazil's Santos basin pre-salt province. Sources told Upstream that McDermott presented a commercial offer of about 1.09 billion reais ($294.5 million) to carry out engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a seven-well set riser to be linked to the Carioca floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
