CANADIAN independent Frontera Energy has farmed into the VIM-1 block in Colombia after striking a deal with Parex Resources. Under the agreement, Frontera will receive a 50% working interest in the Lower Magdalena Valley basin. In exchange, the company will fund 100% of the initial $10 million of drilling, testing and completion costs of the La Belleza-1 exploration well, Frontera said.
