Yes, readers, it's that time of the year again: summer. And like the ghost of summers past, this one is going to be long, hot, and not for the faint of heart. Thankfully, Bob and Bertha will be driving to Tulsa, Okla., rather than flying, because they're still worried about hijacking, so I won't have to hear about that wonderful pantsuit that Berts picked up from Talbots. But Jason, Jenne (spelled with an e), and the choleric twins―being dragged around the airport on tiny harnesses just below the eye levels of rushing travelers―will be flying again this year. The twins can talk now, and their 30-something parents still think it's adorable when they roam through the aisles of planes while many of us are trying to sleep.
