Underground construction IN KOREA

摘要

Despite financial problems Korea is arguably one of the countries where the largest amounts of tunnelling and underground projects are being carried out. HS Chung of Hanyang University, and IM Lee of Korea University, both in Seoul, present a summary of current tunnelling projects, and introduce some of the challenging projects that have been encountered when designing and constructing tunnels.
