Apportionment of tunnelling risk

Following on from the BTS meeting report on the Dublin Port Tunnel (p30), construction solicitor Rob Buchanan of Pinsent Masons, flags up the importance of early risk management strategies I was lucky to be at the BTS seminar "Design and Construction of the Dublin Port Tunnel" on 19 October. Great job, completed in difficult circumstances in a city which hadn't really had anything to do with tunnelling of that scale and complexity and wasn't used to dealing with the inevitable, if minor, disruptions.
