D-Tec, part of AD Group - and a world leader in CCTV camera-based Video Smoke Detection (VSD) - announces that it is a finalist in the prestigious Fire Excellence Awards, run in conjunction with the International Firex and Fire & Rescue exhibitions.rnThe company has been shortlisted in the key Export Innovation category for its successful deployment of VSD, which analyses images to provide an early warning of fire, in a growing number of tunnel projects worldwide.
