A collapsed 100 mm pitch fibre drain in Woking was successfully replaced in just 15 days using the mini-burst pipe bursting technique. "By using the mini-burst pipe bursting technique rather than open cut, we were able to reduce the disruption to the local residents significantly during the project," said operations director Andy Fallon. "The works needed to be completed within a very quick time frame due possible flooding to the properties." Perco was given an order for the works & mobilised within two days. Works commenced on preparation works excavating a pit to a rear garden and the removal of a manhole located within a living room area. It was completed within 1 5 days on time and to budget. "This was a challenging contract due to the nature of the location of the works." said Fallon.
