The applications of the mechanism design theories for transport policies

Wereview the recent progresses of social choice theories and consider the applications of these theories for transport policies, such as local transport policies, congestion problems, investment policies. Most of transport markets cause market failures. Therefore, the mechanisms for efficient allocation have been required. The recent progresses of social choice theories and mechanism design theories show the essential solutions for these problems. Hence, we discuss the applications of the mechanism design theories for the allocations of transport services.
