Since weather condition affects road traffic and traffic environment greatly, the road weather information must be collected and be offered to drivers as soon as possible. So that proper measures may be taken. In this way, traffic safety, smooth traffic flow and comfortable road environment are maintained, and so traffic accidents secondary disasters are prevented, especially, at cold or snow area in winter. And thus, the road weather information system is essential to the orderly road traffic.
