Energy Absorption Properties for FRP Components -Report of FRP working activities-

摘要

We carried out several experimental tests of FRP to evaluate the energy absorption properties. By utilizing these experimental data, we have constructed the database regarding the energy absorption properties of FRP in the axial direction. In addition, we tried to make a numerical simulation model of FRP in reference to these experimental results. Based on these results, we investigate the possibility of application of FRP to the vehicle body.
