Government urged to cough up more exhaust after-treatment incentives

Stronger financial incentives are needed to encourage operators to fit exhaust after-treatment to in-service vehicles, according to a powerful government advisory body. The message comes from the Pollution Working Group, part of the Commission for Integrated Transport that has just come out in support of 44-tonne trucks (page 7).
