Good news for SOE's Professional Sectors

As printed in Operations Engineer in both March and April, we are delighted to announce that the Special Resolutions placed before an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 31 March were approved and will lead to the creation of the following, as of the 2005 Annual General Meeting on 23 June: An operational Council for each of the Professional Sectors (three in number at present - IRTE, IPIantE and BES), consisting of both elected and co-opted members with specialist, sector-specific skills.
