Thoughts on the cost-effectiveness of high-quality information

I wish to echo the comments made by Alan Bunting in his letter (Transport Engineer September) expressing dismay over the imminent departure of editor Tim Blakemore and deputy editor David Wilcox. I couldn't have phrased it better, but then Alan himself has a long and distinguished record of automotive engineering journalism. I fear that writers and editors of this calibre are becoming a rarity in the industry.
