Brisbane's Inner Northern Busway Opens

Brisbane's new 2.8km Inner Northern Busway (INB) commenced operations on 23 February 2004 after a low key opening on a very hot 22 February. This article outlines the 17 months construction task, some unusual construction features and the changes to Brisbane City Council (BCC) bus routes and services. Accompanying the new busway were improved signage and information at the Queen Street Bus Station. Previous articles appeared in TA 1/02, 9/03 and 12/03.
