摘要

A steadily increasing number of buses in a crowded city means that there are problems finding bus standover areas during the day. The city has 3,200 buses on 111 routes with only three standing areas. Some buses use inter-provincial bus parks whilst many buses stand on National Road 22 causing traffic jams. The Municipal People's Committee has assigned the Public Transportation Management Centre of the Department of Transport and Public Works to develop a plan to resolve the parking problem, but lacks enough land to build standover areas.
