Just before the middle of October the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal's (IPART) fare reviews were at varying stages: CityRail - All public participation had closed. IPART's determination was due in mid-October with new fares possibly to start in early or mid-November. Private ferries and STA Newcastle ferries - A review was current. Agency submissions closed on 14 September. IPART's Issues Paper and the submission from the Commercial Vessel Association were on the IPART web site.
