On 13 May IPART advertised that it is reviewing maximum rnfares for metropolitan and outer metropolitan bus services rnto apply from January 2010. The review covers regular passenger rnservices operated by the State Transit Authority and private operators rnin the Sydney metropolitan area, the Blue Mountains, Wollongong,rnNewcastle, the Hunter Region and the Central Coast. IPART also advised rnthat it is reviewing its approach to setting fares for these services, rnreleased an Issues Paper setting out a proposed approach and was seeking submissions with a closing date of 19 June.
