Passengers using the RED ticket can transfer between interconnecting contracted regular route bus services in rural and regional areas, without any further fare.The RED ticket is also valid in the Sydney outer metropolitan areas, where the local bus service starts in rural and regional NSW and terminates in an outer metropolitan bus service area. Further travel on the CountryLink rail/coach network or on the Sydney Metropolitan/Outer Metropolitan network will require the purchase of an additional excursion ticket.
