The first of 20 new Scania Euro6 buses with Bustech VST bodies was delivered in December 2016, in a new colour scheme of blue and mid-grey. The blue buses will contrast with the trams, when they arrive, which will be red. The ACT Government will buy 80 new buses over the next four years as it expands the network. The new buses feature: 1. Bike racks; 2. Fewer internal steps; 3. Dual sensitive edge passenger doors; 4. Revised air-conditioning ducting; 5. Full interior and exterior LED lighting; 6. Revised and improved access for servicing and maintenance; and 7. A low noise interior body design.
