On the opening day of Route 77 through the Clem7 tunnel, 22 March, the first trip at 0615 from Eight Mile Plains to Chermside carried 12 people; one genuine passenger and a mix of BT employees, bus enthusiasts, transport groups and media representatives. On the return working there were five passengers and most of the group of 12 from the first trip.rnThe CityGlider was launched at 1015 on 10 April at West End Ferry with Bus 1049, a MAN 18.310 diesel with Volgren Brisbane Transport Workshops body in a new livery of two-tone blue with white sweeping skirt, which arrived at 1012 for the launching. The CityGlider dot-matrix destination failed as the bus arrived.
