CSELR Sydney CBD&SE Light Rail

The documents released in November 2013, with submissions closing on 16 December, covered several thousand pages and contained much of interest that many will take a long time to digest. TA here covers the summaries only of these important documents and should be able to give coverage to some of the responses in future issues. Major concerns expressed so far refer to over engineering in the form of 'looks like heavy rail with low level platforms' and to suspected challenges in future capacity and routing options. The detailed figures of future capacity and developmental growth also suggest that far more than the one Metro line will also be required in the future.
