There can be very few tramway systems that have operated with three classes of trams in their first 18 years of life. But the delivery of the second tranche of six CAF Urbos3 cars has seen the end of the original Variotrams in Sydney. As well, four second hand Urbos2 trams from Spain were in Sydney for a very short time.
