This Berlin author and publisher has produced over 40 books mainly dealing with cities with Tram and/or Metro systems. The first books covered cities in Europe but Schwandl's knowledge and research abilities working with other enthusiasts has enabled the production of books covering the United States of America, and Australia/New Zealand. This latest book is the second volume covering Japan and, along with the first such volume, is written with Andrew Phipps. The books are to a standard size of 240 mm x 170 mm with the pagination depending on the quantity of data and colour photographs required to cover the subject matter of the book. This volume has 144 pages. As with the other books it is fully bi-lingual with all the text, captions and tabulation details in both German and English.
