Incorporating Second Generation Human Reliability Analysis Methods into Current Probabilistic Safety Analysis

In this paper, we propose the incorporation of second generation HRA methods into current PSA so that recent development, knowledge and information about the cognition and behavior of human operators in NPPs can be reflected to PSA. As an example, the incorporation of ATHEANA and CREAM into ASEP/THERP HRA framework is briefly described in this paper. A preliminary study reveals the feasibility of the proposed method. However, we think that further discussions about the details of the method are still required.
