摘要

Defined as the application of simplified, stochastic load/capacity models to the assessment of failure rates of degraded passive components, the method presented here is, in principle, general izable. However, since the underlying physics models must reflect the specific nature of the degradation mechanisms under evaluation, practical generalizability will be driven by the range of degradation mechanisms typically addressed under the SDP. On the availability of plant-specific data to support such models, the expectation is that data collection during an inspection would be informed by a knowledge of the SDP models to be applied.
