EBR-Ⅱ Passive Safety Demonstration Tests Benchmark Analyses - Phase 1

Phase 1 of the EBR-Ⅱ benchmarks CRP has been completed. Blind simulation results have been submitted by a majority of the participants, and comparisons against the recorded data, as well as cross-code comparisons, are encouraging. The comparisons against the experimental data have highlighted where the strengths lie in the models developed by the participants and also where modeling improvements are needed. CRP participants are now in the process of refining their models and have the recorded data available to them. The results of these modeling improvements will be shared among the participants when the third Research Coordination Meeting is held in the spring of 2015.
