The City of Bradford has deployed one of the most comprehensive ANPR systems in the country supplied by PIPS Technology. The system, which consists of more than 90 cameras in total, can be used by the council for measuring journey times but also by West Yorkshire Police who can use the system to monitor vehicles that may have been involved in criminality. As the area covered is relatively small, the system has been able to cover all routes in and out of the city with ANPR technology.
