Centennial Pap: Tracing TRB's History Through Its Standing Committees

The standing committees of the Transportation Research Board's (TRB's) Technical Activities Division are communities of individuals who share an interest and expertise in transportation. As part of TRB's Centennial celebration, all 200-plus standing committees were invited to submit a Centennial Paper, which showcases each standing committee's evolution, past accomplishments, and contributions to the transportation field. This article highlights some of the accomplishments and varied missions of six of the submitted Centennial Papers.
