PURPOSE: A device for managing a history of livestock products in forward tracing and a controlling method thereof are provided to enable a customer to eat the livestock product safely and enable a seller to increase a sale profit through a high reliability by enabling the customer to trace the history of the livestock products forward/backward. CONSTITUTION: A farmer PC(100) transfers all information for the livestock to a butchery server(200) or a central server(400) when the livestock is sold to a butchery. The butchery server transfers all information received from the farmer PC to a processing factory server(300) or the central server when the butchered livestock is sold to a processing factory. The processing factory server transfers all information received from the butchery server to a retail shop server(500) or the central server when a box of the processed livestock is sold to a retail shop. The central server receives/manages the history information from the farmer PC, the butchery server, the processing factory server, and the retail shop server, and enables the customer to trace the history by constructs a web homepage.
