Development of Frame Hardening Ductile Cast Iron for Stamping Press Dies

摘要

Cast iron TGC600 allowing die-and-edge integration was successfully developed by reconsidering the source material and the cast iron structure, as well as alloy addition. This effort simplified the structure of stamping press dies, and contributed to cost reduction of the dies and shortening of their manufacturing period.
