摘要

Previously there has not been a CAE simulation method capable of simultaneously predicting tire, suspension, and body flexibility characteristics of a vehicle in motion. We developed vehicle in motion simulation by combining analysis of mechanism with modal data which takes dynamic body characteristics into account. In this paper, we will describe methods of creating body and suspension simulation models. The simulation results obtained with this method agree well with actual vehicle dynamics and rough road test results. This method also made it possible to calculate body deformation when steering or going over a bump, and it has the potential to become an effective method for predicting both vehicle dynamics and strength.
