Development of the Long Awaited Hybrid Minivan

摘要

In a desperate race to develop a vehicle that is environmentally-friendly, we took on the challenge of developing a hybrid vehicle of a particularly difficult heavy-weight class. A newly developed hybrid system has enabled fuel consumption and emission levels to be drastically improved. In addition, by applying this hybrid system and utilizing equipment with various state-of-the-art Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) functions, we have added an entirely new dimension to driving which has led us to propose a new concept for how a vehicle of the 21st century should be.
