'Policy & Practice' in TPR: announcing the start of a new feature

It is my pleasure to introduce what is to be a new regular feature in Town Planning Review. The basic aim of 'Policy & Practice' is, as we announced earlier, to bring to the journal international contributions that 'bridge policy research and planning strategy, and that evaluate the performance of past policies and programs in terms of their results "on the ground.'" Among my tasks as editor is the commissioning of Policy & Practice features, which will take the form of longer free-standing articles, as in this issue, and 'forums' comprising a lead paper, several comments, and a response. The anticipated frequency will be three features per annual volume, generally in alternate issues.
