Geographer of innovation and urban theorist of the information age

Sir Peter Hall was a Renaissance man whose research and thinking covered multiple disciplines and themes while his passion for improving cities and citizens' lives led him to advise on major projects of urban and regional planning around the world. Yet, in my view, the name of Peter Hall will remain forever at the forefront of the theory of innovation, the major source of progress for humankind.
