INTERVIEW: MARK SMITH, THE MAN IN SEAT 61

In 2001, career railwayman Mark Smith set up the website "Man in Seat 61" (www.seat61.com) with the aim of advising people on why and how to travel by train rather than by other means from the UK to continental Europe and within Europe itself. The website was a runaway success and now gets over a million visits a month. Alan Yearsley asked Mark about the past, present and future of the website.
