Eurostar has reported a strong performance in 2017, with sales revenues up by 11% to £880 million year-on-year and passenger numbers up by 3% to 10.3 million. Eurostar reported a preliminary unaudited operating profit of £57.6 million in 2017. The number of US visitors choosing to travel by Eurostar grew by 26% and the volume of business travellers by 8%. DAH ...and Getlink Getlink, formerly the Eurotunnel group, announced its 2017 results on 21 February. Overall revenue increased by 4% to €1.033 billion, with EBITDA up 6% to €526 million and consolidated net profit of €113 million, down from €188 million in 2016. Overall Shuttle traffic was slightly down - truck numbers being stable at 1.637 million (market share stable at 39.1%), while car numbers were down by 1% (54.9% share) and coaches by 4% (39.1%).
