On 19 April former DR express DMU VT18.16 plus three trailers was moved from Wustermark Rbf near Berlin to the DB Museum site at Lichtenfels. VT18.16 had been stored in Ketzin since July 2014 where the local railway club OHKB had offered a track for storage free of charge. Unfortunately the club did not have the means to protect or restore the train. The train belongs to the DB Museum and were DR units 175 014 and 019. Fortunately the DB Museum has now decided to restore the train cosmetically in its depot in Lichtenfels and to show it in an exhibition in Nuemberg later this year.
