The Conference on Important Problems of Polymer Materials Science was held on March 13-14, 2006, at the Enikolopov Institute of Synthetic Polymer Materials, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia. The conference was on the occasion of the XIV Enikolopov Readings. Academician N.S. Enikolopov was a world-famous scientist in the chemistry and physics of high-molecular-weight compounds, chemical physics, and chemical kinetics. He was a founder of the Institute of Synthetic Polymer Materials.
