An empty HST in platform 1 awaits clearance to the depot. The vacant platform 2 is available for the 12.05 Glasgow-Central to Penzance 'Voyager'. A string of 'Sprinters' is being assembled in platform 3. Tucked away outside the overall roof in platform 4 comes the more urgent noise of a diesel locomotive.
