Eurostar boxed in by Thameslink travesty

Eurostar is reported to be "furious" that the Government has not sanctioned the fit-out of the Thameslink box at St Pancras, forcing Thameslink passengers to continue using the Pentonville Road station after Eurostar services move to St Pancras in 2007. Whilst it is of course logical that, having built the Eurostar station at St Pancras and a box for a new Thameslink station there, it should be completed, it is not surprising that the Government has seen fit to delay paying for such work.
