Putting the customers first?

I was staggered to see how much ScotRail seems to value its paying customers when it comes to car parking at Oban station. Virtually all the spaces closest to the platforms are reserved for staff rather than customers - yet presumably many workers park all day and therefore have little need to be closest to the station facilities.
